Legis Commercial Capital is fortunate to have several key industry figures that will be providing guidance through Advisory Council roles.  We feel very fortunate to have them supporting us in this capacity

David L. Johnson - Legal Counsel
David represents clients in the areas of real estate, finance, business organizations and estate planning.  Prior to his current law practice, Mr. Johnson was General Counsel and CFO of a privately owned real estate developer and homebuilder. In that capacity, he oversaw all compliance, contractual and entitlement matters and worked closely with outside equity partners and institutional lenders on finance and capital structure.  He was also named an equity partner in the Phoenix law firm of Streich Lang, P.A. (now merged into Quarles & Brady LLP) where he represented clients in complex real estate and commercial transactions, including acquisition and development, finance, construction and leasing.  He received his B.S. in Finance from Arizona State University and his M.B.A. and J.D. from Brigham Young University.

Kurt ChilcottPresident & C.E.O. Small Business Finance
Mr. Chilcott is the President and C.E.O. of the largest C.D.C. in the country, CDC Small Business Finance. Kurt has a long history of association leadership in the economic development field. He currently serves on the board of the National Association of Government Guaranteed Lenders. He was the first co-chair of the International Economic Development Council (IEDC), the last chair of the Council for Urban Economic Development (CUED), chair of the National Association of Development Companies (NADCO) and president of the California Association for Local Economic Development (CALED). He has also served on the boards of numerous local and state non-profit organizations. Mr. Chilcott received his B.A. from Harvard and holds a Masterʼs in Public Policy from UC Berkeley.

Mike Rozman – Executive Vice President, BoeFly, LLC.
Mr. Rozman is the chief strategy officer for BoeFly overseeing business development, marketing, and external affairs. Mr. Rozman drives best practice information in the credit industry overseeing BoeFly’s educational programs and outreach, and is a frequent speaker at conferences and events focused on small business lending and secondary markets. Previously, Mr. Rozman was the President and Co-Founder of Edgeware Analytics, Inc. the parent company to GovGex and Small Business Loan Exchange, the two online marketplaces that served as the founding platforms of the BoeFly continuum.  Prior to co-founding Edgeware Analytics in 2003, Mr. Rozman was a Vice President at JPMorgan Chase in their Global Bank where he oversaw a $3 billion custody portfolio.  Mr.Rozman earned a dual-MBA from Columbia Business School and the London Business School as well as a bachelor’s degree from Boston College.
